Hi
I am trying to unseal the vault after supplying the keys:
vault unseal 1ovj5nffSC1Ll0fDh0Jn+MwVXiLRAsMcvCNarIdAfq8L 29N0BepFtfaK+2LnZIyYrBxyqg7M1 ird5+yuk4uWpvg6 W7ShhOaN/vOfwb9kedaXGErCMmfP0UWbAxerEomRahgS
Sealed: true
Key Shares: 5
Key Threshold: 3
Unseal Progress: 1
Unseal Nonce: 19e814ca-a0eb-0da7-2dcc-6ee033a837f8  <---------- Can u explain what is nonce used for?

Also does the unseal progress ever finish, so that the vault is unsealed.
Thanks Amer

Hi Amer,

It's one key per operation; only the first key in your 'vault unseal' command was used. That's why it's sitting at 1.

The nonce is used as an operation identifier; it doesn't really have a use at the moment.

Best,
Jeff
