How to check the status of vault secret KV engine V1 to V2 upgarde

Hi All,

I am upgrading my vault instance, from secret KV version v1 to v2 as per https://www.vaultproject.io/docs/secrets/kv/kv-v2.html

My backend storage is consul cluster with 5 nodes, snapshots size is 18 MB. 

It has been more than 20 minutes, but this upgrade has not completed. This is because, when I go to vault UI and try to access secret engine, it shows below message:

Ember Data Request GET /v1/secret/metadata/ returned a 400 Payload (Empty Content-Type) [object Object]

Upgrading from non-versioned to versioned data. This backend will be unavailable for a brief period and will resume service shortly.

 

The vault and consul logs (logs that show up on stdout) do not say anything about this operation.

How do I check the status of upgrade operation?

Is there any way to stop/rollback the upgrade?

I will appreciate the quick responses on this.
