Hi.

Just downloaded Vatata and started the server. I'm just wondering how
can I stream for example mp3 or 3gp file or what ever is supported?

I made a test mount point 'test' (c:\temp\test) and copied one mp3 and
one 3gp file there. Can I stream them somehow or do I have to do
something more?

Can't sleep yet so I started to mess aroung with this Vatata software
because I want to stream music/videos to my Nokia E51 mobile phone
which supports rtsp.

I have tried this with Winamp in command prompt: winamp rtsp://localhost:9999/test

I receive a message "try get media url from c:/temp/test/".

Any tips and hints would be appreciated to get me started with this
Vatata. Is it even possible to do what I'm trying to do?

Best regards,

mrcntp.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention... I also installed a plugin to Winamp
which adds support to rtsp.

Just looked through the settings xml file and 3gp and mp3 files aren't
listed there so I propably can forget them. Tried with asf file and it
seems that the Winamp's plugin isn't quite compatible as I thought it
would be. Tried with Windows Media Player and the communication
between it and Vatata was established. Unfortunately I wasn't able to
see the video even though it's total time was shown. After
"Buffering..." Windows Media Player just stayed in "Waiting..." and
nothing happened. Among other debug messages there was "DEBUG - rtsp
request is invalid!" so there's still something wrong with the
communication...
