hi, i am curious as to what things should be taken care of in a
software engineers office. what should be the placement of the
computer, what direction should one face etc. I have a square office
with N,E,W,S as the corners and the entrance is at SW wall (more
towards South). There is glass windows on the NE wall. the desks are
on the NE wall and NW wall. (but can be moved). the book shelves are
overhead on the NW wall.
Thanks for your time!

Hi Aakash,

I'm a student of Vastu of about 8 years; here is my response.

1) If possible tell the engineering firm to relocate into better
premises.
2) If he's not keen, get him to source an energised crystal Sri
Yantra, and place this in the centre fon the room if possible.
3) Ideally get everyone facing as close to eat or north. So in the NW
corner you can have desks facing as close to east as possible etc. I
have read and it feels right that desks be aligned parallel with
walls, unless the room is expansive and you can break the office up
using plants, coloured rugs on the floor etc.
4) The head engineer probably needs to go in the South western area,
sheilded from the entrance. A client of mine has just moved from the
SW corner to the south and this have really rejuvenated his energy in
the business. If the head of the business is feeling complacent, get
him as close to the SE as possible.
5) Shelves sound ok. More heaviness can be placed in the SW area, but
do not clutter the entrance.
6) remember to un-clutter the office as much as possible, keep east
around to north very clean and light.

If anyone can add or comment on these notes, I'd like to see them.

regards
Brad

Hi, Sorry I have no control, this is a big office and my office is
part of it. I am not concerned about placing others, but my own office
settings, seating, desk, computer, books etc. You said sit near NW
wall near the E side? Is that correct? My back would face any visitors
to this office then, is that recommended?
Thanks
