How about using Android Debug Bridge(ADB) and fastboot commands? ADB fastboot commands are an essential element to understand for every tech enthusiast and developer. It allows you to install APKs, helps you to create a full backup of your device, and even helps in rooting.

Fastboot mode works as a communication bridge between your computer and Android device. Fastboot mode enables flash images like bootloaders, custom ROMs, recoveries, kernels in your Android device. With fastboot mode, you can modify system partitions which are usually done from PC via USB cable.

This command will let you reboot your device back into the bootloader/fastboot mode. To make the fastboot command work, your phone should be in fastboot mode. You can use the ADB reboot bootloader command to perform the task.

There are a log of Fastboot blogs out there but what they don't always mention is, Samsung devices have no fastboot mode. So if yours is a Samsung device, don't waste time on any of the drivers and settings, because it will not work on Samsung. You can use adb but not fastboot.

That is, although it was detected by adb (adb devices), when i instructed it to reboot in fastboot (adb reboot bootloader), it did not recognize the device straight away. Reconnecting allowed it to realize the change in state, and now it was properly recognized (fastboot devices) and it would follow any instruction properly.

[*] Setup ADB and Fastboot using Android SDK: If you want to learn to set up the ADB and fastboot files using the Android SDK package, then head over to How to setup ADB and Fastboot Drivers page.

Wait a few seconds and your Xiaomi phone would exit the Fastboot mode successfully. If you still get stuck on fastboot mode, please use the Repair Android System feature on ReiBoot for Android to give an entire repair to Android OS.

The preferred feedback method is using the built-in feauture using the following schema:
1) Try to use XiaoMiTool
2) If you find a bug or error, don't close XiaoMiTool, click the settings icon, click "Send feedback"
3) You can write a quick report of the error you encountered, it's not necessary (if you see the error details in the tool then those details are already included in the tool, if the tool is stuck or doesn't show an error, then please include a brief description of what happened)
4) Please include log files, feedbacks without log files are close to useless
If you want to leave a detailed feedback or private feedback you can send an email to [email protected], please always attach the log files which are usually in C:\XiaoMi\XiaoMiTool2\res\tmp\logs on Windows and in /opt/xiaomitool/res/tmp/logs on Linux.
Feedbacks without log files are close to useless.
