2. 🎥 The Asian Students' Alliance is proud to present a masterclass with former Jubilee Creative Director Ien Chi titled "5 million subscribers" this Thursday at 7pm EST over Zoom! Join us for a conversation on Asian Americans in the film industry, organized in three parts: a panel discussion, a multimedia presentation, and a free-for-all Q&A. Ien is the former Creative Director of Jubilee Media, where he led the creative team in making some of YouTube's most popular shows such as Middle Ground, Spectrum, Odd Man Out, and Versus 1 which collectively have garnered 1B+ views and 5.5M+ subscribers! You can check out a Jubilee video here (Do All Asian Americans Think the Same? | Spectrum), although you've probably seen one in the past without even realizing it! In the past, Ien has created works for NASA, Apple, Nike, The New York Times, NBC Asian America, Youtube, and many more. Some fun facts about Ien are that he is an INFP, officially the world's 11th best whistler (as of 2012), a pastor's kid, and is known among his friends for saying "life is such a trip!"

- Tiana, a Senior Editor at the Misc, developed the idea for an interest column called Mosaic, centering the writings and content of BIPOC creators on the intersections of race, culture, politics, and social justice. Attached is a flyer with a link to an interest form. Both Tiana and I will co-edit it, and are willing to have a Zoom meeting with anyone to answer questions!
