Hi all!

At Mark Klein's suggestion, I am writing to this group in hopes that someone will have some insight for us into a problem we're having with Variman. We've had Variman installed in our production environment for years now. We have over 100 vendors querying it daily and have not had any issues until recently.

Mark worked with us to implement the ability to read image/media data out of a database table, rather than from the drive. This code was then implemented in Variman and shared with the latest release (I can't remember which version that was). As soon as we released the newest Variman installation, which also included some metadata changes, along with the new getObject logic, we started getting calls from vendors who were seeing invalid data coming back when they issue a "multi-photo" query. If a vendor issues the following query:

rets/getObject?Resource=Property&Type=Photo&Id=210022059:*

They get a file that contains the photos, the Content-ID and the Object-ID. The photos correspond to the MLS number requested, the object ID corresponds to the correct sequence of photos for the MLS number requested, but the Content-ID SOMETIMES comes back as a completely different content-ID from what was passed in. From our logs, it seems to happen when another request is coming in and being processed at the same time as the photo request above and somehow my request gets the content-ID value from a completely different request that just happens to be going on at the same time.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any insight into what may be causing this to happen?

Thanks for your time

Irena
