I would like to join the project and contribute any changes I make and/or help with further development.  Are you allowing open participation or do you prefer that contributors submit diff files?

Welcome aboard! Start with diffs for now and we can go from there. The
primary thing I look for is breaking changes, and the hard part in
that is knowing how others are using some of the "extended features"
of Variman (custom DAOs/beans, etc).
