ARIA & EPIC - how much is documented where?

I am curious of the ARIA / EPIC users that are on this users list how much documentation is in which system. 

Nursing - All EPIC? Or hybrid?

MD's, etc.

 

Just looking to get a feel for what other sites might be doing to keep in communication with the HIS.

It will depend on how your organization functions and what they allow you to do. Previously, we were autonomous and were able to document everything in Aria and have information and documentation flow over to our EMR. However, a couple of years ago we were taken over by a larger hospital system. Their policy is to have all nursing and physician documentation done in Epic and have it flow over to Aria. Everything else is allowed to be done in Aria. After working in both scenarios I strongly feel the former method of doing everything in Aria is by far the much better and more efficient way to do things.
