Hey premiere people. I haven't used much Premiere at home since I use it at work many hours per week, but now that I have to do a thing on my own, I'm asking myself why I cant change the label colour of an audio clip. I can change the colour of the video clip, but not of the audio one, be it via shortcut or with right click .---> label ---> red/yellow/green. I'm sure there is a very simple solution, but since I never had this problem I can't see it right now. I'm using Pro 21.

Each file contains an ECG signal ecgSignal, a table of region labels signalRegionLabels, and the sample rate variable Fs. All signals have a sample rate of 250 Hz. The region labels correspond to three heartbeat morphologies:

Open the Signal Labeler app and import the labeled signal set from the workspace. Plot the first signal in the data set. From the Display tab, select the panner and zoom to a smaller region of the signal for better visualization.

Create a custom labeling function labelECGregions to locate and label the three different regions of interest. Code for the custom function appears later in the example. You can save the function in your current folder, on the MATLAB path, or add it in the app by selecting Add Custom Function in the Automate Value gallery. See Custom Labeling Functions for more information.

Select BeatMorphologies in the Label Definitions browser and choose the labelECGregions function from the Automate Value gallery. Select Auto-Label and then Auto-Label and Inspect Plotted. Click Run. From the Display tab, zoom in on a region of the labeled signal and use the panner to navigate through time. If the labeling is satisfactory, click Save Labels to accept the labels and close the Autolabel tab. You can see the labels and their location values in the Labeled Signal Set Browser.

Select the Dashboard in the toolstrip of the Labeler tab. The progress bar shows 5% of members are labeled with at least one ROI label. This corresponds to 1/20 members in the data set. The label distribution pie chart shows the number of instances of each category for the selected label definition.

Close the dashboard and continue your labeling. Select Auto-Label and then Auto-Label All Signals to label the next four signals in the list. Check the box next to the signal names you want to label and then click OK.

Select the Dashboard again. The progress bar now shows 25% of members are labeled. Verify the distribution of each category (P, QRS, or T) is as expected. The Label Distribution pie chart shows that each category makes up about a third of all label instances. Select the Time Distribution histogram chart from the Plots gallery to view the average duration of the P and T waves and QRS complexes, including outliers. Notice the T waves have longer durations than the P waves and QRS complexes.

Click on the progress bar plot and adjust the Threshold in the toolstrip to count only members with at least 5000 labels. Now only three of the five labeled members are included in the count. Adjust the count threshold to better differentiate between labeled and unlabeled members based on your labeling requirements.

I have a track with numerous clips. A number of these clips are marked with labels. I want say to take the last two clips and move (time shift) them some distance down the track (to insert some audio in-between). The clips are accompanied by labels. What I do is I select the last two audio clips along with the labels on the label track. I use the time shift tool to move the two clips with their markers.

There is another alternative that might work and is less inconvenient. Duplicate the labels track. Devote one label track to the clips that you move and one label track to the clips that remain stationary. Select the clips that you want to move with labels in one label track and move them to where you would like. Then :

You should be able to select the clips that you want to move (or process in whatever way you want to process) and ONLY the labels aligned with those clips will be moved (or processed). Can this be done with Audacity the way it is now, or does it need a new feature?

I am building an HTML5 app that plays audio. However, when playing audio on iOS8 iPad/iPhone in lock screen mode, the URL of the audio is showing (see pic below). It would be great if it was possible to change that text to something more describing, such as the Artist/Title of the track. The logical solution would be to read from a title attribute or some apple-specific meta tag, but nothing I have tried seems to work.

You can give an audio and video tag a title attribute in HTML5. This is displayed in now-playing info center. I haven't found any other attributes that are used. Since you are building a web app, you are limited in what you can do.

The commands apply to all labeled audio regions that are fully inside a selection drawn in a label track. The selection may extend beyond the label boundaries, but audio that is not labeled and audio whose region label is only partly within the selection will not be acted on.

To enable the Labeled Audio commands in the Edit menu, the selection must be made in the Label Track and must fully include (or extend beyond) at least one region label, or must touch (or extend beyond) at least one point label.

If none of the audio tracks are included in the selection, the Labeled Audio commands apply to all audio tracks in the project. When vinyl was the standard for audio recording, the phono stage was built-in to receivers and amps, allowing direct connection of a turntable. These days most receivers and amps do not contain a phono stage so a separate unit is needed.

Next, we select a classification model for the data. In this case, our model is a linear output layer trained on extracted features (aka embeddings) from audio clips (.wav files) obtained via a pre-trained Pytorch model that was previously fit to the VoxCeleb speech dataset.

For the Spoken Digit example above, cleanlab is able to automatically detect that this audio clip has an incorrect label of 6.The rest of this blog dives into the code implementing this workflow.

Note that the pre-trained feature-extractor was trained on a separate dataset than the one we are searching for label issues in. This is important because cleanlab requires out-of-sample predicted probabilities, as will be explained subsequently.

Here we demonstrated how easy it is to use cleanlab to find label issues in an audio dataset. If there are label errors even in widely-studied and curated datasets like Spoken Digit, then label errors are likely lurking in your own audio data as well. Stop blindly trusting your data! You can integrate cleanlab into your ML development workflows to manage the quality of your data labels.

Researchers from MIT, the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, IBM Research, and elsewhere have developed a new technique for analyzing unlabeled audio and visual data that could improve the performance of machine-learning models used in applications like speech recognition and object detection.
