Hi all, I have been running window updates for a while on my SUP. I was recently tasked with adding office updates to the mix. Ok fine, I added office 2016 and 365 to my testing ADR and let it download over the weekend.
I come back today and it turns out I VASTLY underestimated just how much room those office updates would take up, the disk is now filled to the brim with massive office updates. I need to remove these office updates and re-evaluate my strategy for auto deploying these. Does anyone know how I can remove these from any update groups and deployments that might have them then also remove them from the disk to clean up all of that space?

by Leo A. NotenboomDeleting updates and folders might be okay if you do a backup beforehand, just to be sure. There are better ways to free up disk space that will be lessproblematic.Question:Hi Leo. Windows XP, SP3. Can I delete Microsoft Office 2010 updates before I
install Microsoft 2010 SP1 to free up disk space? Also, can I delete the
contents of the following path also again to free up disk space on the local
drive? (See Windows software distribution download.)In this excerpt from

The techniques described in magicandre1981's answer to Office 2016 Advanced Setup can be applied to accomplish a rollback, too. You just need to know the specific version number you want. Fortunately, previous version files appear to be stored in %programfiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Updates\Download\PackageFiles (or presumably %programfiles% equivalent if you installed the 64-bit version).
Office updates - I don't need those office updates as we are not using that version of channel - is there a way to remove the updates that we don't want?
Content clean up - how can I clean up the main site server since the tool won't work for main site just DP's?

2. Again, there are no additional files for Office 365 with additional languages selected. Some products have language packs but no Office. So, following the "To deploy Microsoft Office 365 updates with Patch Management Solution" section should be sufficient to get Office updates in place as needed.
For cases like these, you can instead have the local softwaredistribution agent run the file directly from the source, whether that'sa preferred server or the source specified in the package. When youenable run from source, software distribution won't download packagefiles to the local cache, nor will it run the package from a peer.
I open pdf and jpg & Office files using eM Client with the default stuff built in Windows & Libra Office for free unless you already own office, but you can obviously install other advanced readers and jpg viewers etc optional apart from the OS.
If the Pop!_Shop is showing an update available, but there are no updates listed on the update page, there may be a Flatpak runtime (a backend program that another Flatpak depends on) with an update available. Run these commands to update all Flatpaks and remove any Flatpak runtimes that are no longer required by any installed programs:
