VAPS Conference

[VAPS Executive]

Dear Philosophy Colleagues,

As you will know, VAPS is hosting our biennial conference on the 9th & 10th of July at Monash University in Melbourne.

We are currently accepting proposals to present at the conference. Proposal submission is due to close on 12 February. I encourage all philosophy in schools practitioners who are available on those dates to submit a proposal.

The theme for this conference is 'Sharing Best Practice'. As such, we encourage practical talks and workshops for conference participants. The idea is that this conference will focus on in-class work that teachers and practitioners can pick up and roll with, rather than the theoretical side of philosophy in schools.

We have two wonderful keynote presenters who will support this theme with their highly practical and accessible work in Phil Cam & Thomas Wartenberg. We hope that you too can contribute to the conference.
