Open Discussion

  • For non-students use Power Vote on the streets to get people to hear about VAPS
  • Housing Board will be up in the coming weeks
    • Remind people to stay with friends in area
  • When recruiting, aim for ‘youth’ (ideally but not strictly 16-23 year olds)
  • Utilize recruitment cards / Power Vote cards: get contact information and a sense of who is really interested in PV / VAPS and discuss the other to get people plugged in
  • When fundraising emphasize to department heads and professors that you all will be representing your school and that students can do presentations / reports / other items in return instead of just ‘asking for money’
