PROJECT BRIEF

The State Government of Himachal Pradesh has embarked on an ambitious statewide systemic transformation programme in the field of education. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-impact project on quality education initiatives with a dynamic state government department and its ancillary organisations.

The government understands the use of technology as a critical lever in large-scale transformation, and most initiatives within the project will have a strong technological basis. The candidate will work with a number of other professional organisations in designing and implementing various initiatives for the state government.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coding (vb.net, C#, Python, SQL, JavaScript etc.) as per project requirement

- Drafting tenders, RFPs and other technical documents

- Co-ordinating with different stakeholders within the government

- Presenting to senior leadership of the government such as the Director (Elementary) or State Project Director (SSA)

- Working with external agencies to design and implement technological tools

CRITERIA

- B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree

- 2 years of professional experience in coding, design or a related field

The candidate should be a self-motivated individual who is able to deal with ambiguity, navigate a complex government environment, and take things to completion.

The position will require the employee to be based out of Shimla, HP, and the salary will be competitive as per industry standards.
