UNDP Online Course on Anti-corruption and Human Development - Call for Applications
It is a pleasure for the UNDP Virtual School to inform you about the new 10-week online course on “Essentials on Anti-Corruption and Human Development” that will be launched in September of 2011. This course is the first UNDP training initiative that provides analytical and practical tools on anticorruption from a human development perspective and promotes a comparative analysis of corruption practices around the globe.
The overall objective of the course is to provide participants with essential conceptual knowledge as well as analytical and practical skills on anti-corruption programming including assessment and measurement of corruption. This virtual course Essentials on Anti-Corruption and Human Development is designed for UNDP staff and practitioners interested in deepening their knowledge in the area of anti-corruption. It seeks to develop and strengthen the capacities of UNDP country offices (CO) and national counterparts within Anti-Corruption to address the increased demand of AC programming and initiatives at a national and international level. The course is structured to be completed in 10 weeks and this includes 4 subject topics and 2 weeks for course introduction and closing. The introduction includes a course summary, and the closing unit invites participants to assess the course according to the below structure:
