Great meeting guys! Here're the notes I've taken, please holler if I
forgot anything!

1 - venue
Karen spoke with Workspace and will confirm and pass along details for
the December 8th booking. w00t!
2 - promotions
Dave O's going to work up the local sites (Daily Vancouver, Urban
Vancouver) as well as talk to miss604 about potential participation,
as well as Shared Vision.
Karen will contact Amy at Momentum Magazine.
Paul is requested to start contacting people within TransLink (Karen
will pass on contacts already collected), and/or spread the word on
any mailing lists that he's aware of.
3 - sponsorship
Karen has contacted Gordon Price @ City Program (no response thus
far), will continue to contact others - email first, phone / coffee
followup.
Roland and Dave (not in that order) will construct a page with our
budget / requirements, to which Sponsors can be forwarded and make
their intentions known; will inform the list once this page is
available on the wiki. Emphasis on community (not sponsor) focus,
eco-friendly.
My notes on the amounts were thus:
website - $100
venue - $1000 (??)
swag - $250 (??)
food - $500
4 - guest list
We'll set the list at 100. We'll make sure there's room for the people
we want to extend formal invitations to, but will make the guest list
open for signup on the wiki. We'll also invite people to state their
interests, focus, areas of expertise, etc.
Maybe we'll try getting someone from the Vancouver Trolley Company?
Also, profs from the City Program might enjoy being able to
participate in TransitCamp. Karen will obtain contact information from
jmv.
5 - event day
Karen will do the opening circle.
Roland will do a 5 minute mid-day wrap up before lunch.
We will see about making the morning parallel sessions (organized with
the typical Grid style), then have the afternoon devoted to some sort
of group design "jam" / prototyping process on a design problem to be
voted on by participants.
6 - swag
no tote bags, let's try to keep it low on waste
