Hello, I have an issue where I can connect to a machine that is running teamviewer unattended access. Once logged into the windows session I can not get the mouse to click on or interact with anything on the remote session. I can still operate and click on things with my mouse locally, just not with the remote.

Using TeamViewer 12 I am finding that once I have connected to a remote system (on the LAN or outside) I do not have left/right click functionality with my mouse (though I can move the cursor) and my connection seems to prevent the remote user from clicking too (they can move the cursor though)

I had this problem with TeamViewer 13, and I discovered that it was caused by an USB mouse connected to the target computer. Once I removed the mouse from the USB port, mouse clicks, and overall mouse responsiveness greatly improved.

I have a similar problem with teamviewer 15, windows 10 to macOS mojave - after a while mouse will only do right clicks, even when I try to left click. Alt-tab fixes for a while (thanks @GCRaistlin !) - did you ever find another fix?

Actual result:"That someone was able to gain access to my PC and move the mouse around however, he was not able it to select icons and activate applications on my computer the. left click was effectively disabled.

I am writing because I have a problem with Teamviewer: I have recently added a second monitor to the station that I have to remotely control. When I start the session I see both screens correctly but I can only interact with one of them during videocall. On one I can write, point with the mouse and click to open applications while on the other I can only write with the keyboard and move the mouse but without clicking. Due to this problem I cannot interact with the windows I open on the second monitor which then get stuck.

I have an issue with after connecting from PC to remote PC (Windows 10 to Windows 10) machine where when I click on something it does not select what I clicked on. The mouse cursor moves, the items highlight the hover over, if i click and drag it works no problem, i can draw a select box and you can see the mouse button action that it is pressed and held down, and you can see the release, but when I click on a menu item or a file, I cannot select it. No double clicking responds to open a program or file. I have attached a recording of my issue below. If I EXIT teamviewer and restart TEAMVIEWER , and reconnect to the remote pc the mouse clicks will work but only for 1 session. If I close and reopen the same connection or any other I get the same problem back.

I'm trying to control my game from my phone, and everything works fine except the ability to Click. The mouse moves, and the game recognizes that it's hovering over items/icons, but it won't click unless I spam it non-stop. Sometimes it goes through, most of the time it does nothing.

When I take remote control of my PC at home with Teamviewer, the mouse functions properly in ArmA 3 through Teamviewer in the menus and Eden Editor, but when I start a SP or MP game the player I am controling bends over and stairs at the ground. Moving the mouse causes the player and view to spin around wildly with the player never standing back up. The player constantly stays bent in half while walking etc. I can go prone and move around a little but of course this issue makes the simulation unplayable through remote control. I do not have this issue when working directly on the ARMA 3 PC only when I control it remotely. Mission makers know how much time some missions can take and it would be a great help if I could work remotely without having to install Steam and move all my editing files to my laptop or other PCs. If you don't know what this issue is or it can't be resolved let me know if you use a remote control software that works with no issues. Much appreciated...DOA

I'm trying full screen now. The ArmA Session is the active window, because I can move around a bit with the keyboard but any slight movement of the mouse seems to be greatly exaggerated for the player unit. I have not tried starting a mission as a pilot or in a vehicle but I am sure that will be crazy too. I knew I was on shaky ground trying to run any game much less a Simulation like ArmA through a remote control software. This may sound crazy but I also think from working with other remote control issues that I may be able to resolve this by unplugging the mouse on the ArmA machine that I am controlling remotely. It may be a conflict between the remote mouse and the mouse and joysticks attached to the PC I am controlling. I appreciate everyones help. I may try other remote control software or just install Steam on all the PCs I use for editing and just put my editing files on a flash drive. Thanks again for your help...DOA

Teamviewer always tries to move the cursor to the same spot as your controlling cursor. But that's not how games work. Games disable the cursor and lock it, and detect mouse movement directly.
Teamviewer just does:

It's the same situation if I run Zoom Meetings on the laptop - the desktop can get remote access to the laptop but the VMware window is completely locked out - I cannot move the mouse or press any buttons.

I have installed TeamViewer on Ubuntu 18 desktop in the lab. On my laptop, I can connect remotely to the Ubuntu machine. However, I only see the desktop and cannot do any operation. I can move the cursor around the desktop but cannot do anything, mouse click etc.. doesn't work.

I thought this may have been caused by the latest update. When I first tried to connect, I got an error message that their version of TeamViewer was newer than mine and I would have to update before I could connect. I updated to the latest version and then was able to connect successfully, but I could not click on anything or move their mouse. I could see their screen, but that was about it.

solucionar teamviewer mouse cinema 4d.jpg664x510 45.5 KB First of all, sorry for my English. Thanks for the help, the problem in cinema 4d is solved by activating, as they said, the checkbox of graphic tablets. It was driving me crazy!! Thanks for the help!

On both computers is running teamviewerd service. I can connect from computer B to computer A and do what I want, but from A to B it behaves like on wayland - still image and I cant do anything. I can move with mouse and it is moving on the second computer, but it is not visible inside teamviewer.
I also noticed on B computer (the remote which I am unable to control) in GDM there's only Gnome & Gnome Classic. There's missing Gnome on Xorg option. On computer A it is preset.
So please, what can it be? It looks like Wayland is still preset over Xorg therefore I am unable to use teamviewer on the second computer.
Thanks for any advice

(Another small trick, not seen in the video, is to start the move operation with M, then press an arrow once in the wanted direction, and then you can use the mouse so that it moves only in the horizontal/vertical direction set by the arrow press.)

The screenshare part works - remote person can see the Workstation screen but when you assign the remote person the ability to have remote mouse/keyboard, they can move the mouse cursor, but mouse clicks and keyboard presses don't apparently register in the Workstation session. (e.g. they can't even type in a notepad window)

Setting the CURSORTYPE = 1 is much better. At least now I can work at close to normal speed. Seeing a mouse pointer instead of a cursor is a little odd but it works and the lag is almost completely gone. Using Remote Desktop for the past month has been pretty close to on-site normal except for the AutoCad cursor. Even the ribbon and command area's where the cursor changed to a pointer were normal. But once you move into the cursor window it's like playing pin the tail on the donkey with a fishing rod and a five pound weight on the tip. WAKE UP AUTOCAD CORPORATE THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WORKING FROM HOME THESE DAYS USING REMOTE DESKTOP.

However, if, while I'm away from my PC the internet connection drops out as often happens even only for a few minutes, I can't then remotely access the PC when the internet is re-established (I.e. the router and any other devices when I remotely access a WiFi enable camera for example, (separate from the PC) that works fine, the internet is definitely back up and has connected. But the PC does not automatically reconnect, Plex tells me the server is not connected to the internet, and the remote desktop apps also suggest that there is no internet, (but I know there is because other devices have reconnected). When I physically return to the location of the the PC, I see that the PC is ready to receive my password to log in. But the internet icon displays no internet until I physically move the mouse or press a button on the keyboard, I don't even have to put my password in, literally just moving the mouse seems to trigger it to reconnect to the internet. So, how do I ensure that the PC reconnects automatically to the internet, without me going all the way home to nudge the mouse

I don't think this is a Steam thing as The problem also exhibits itself with ANY remote connections. I've tried VNC, RDP, Teamviewer and Screenconnect...Any remote connection to KSP cause the same no right mouse drag movement bug. It's got to be a unity thing...please please get this fixed as I have to play from a server now with beefed up ram because of the size of the default load with .25.

I believe this issue is related to another one: The invisible mouse pointer problem. In trying to play KSP via in-home streaming, I discovered that if the host computer does not have a mouse connected, then you will not be able to see a mouse pointer when streaming a game (Win 8.1 host). However, the right-click-drag mechanic DOES work, even in KSP. I connected a garbage mouse to the host PC to fix the invisible pointer (which worked), but then I lost the ability to move the camera with the right-click-drag motion. As it is, I can drag the camera with the mouse or see my mouse pointer, but not both.
