Utena is a well known skin care brand in Japan eversince 1920's. Their much sought after Utena Whitening Liquid has been the best seller.

Besides skin care, Utena's hair care brand, Matomage was recently introudced to Singapore early this year.

This Matomage Styling Stick claimed to be a solution for flyaway hair and stray ends to hold your hair in place.  After much buzz by magazines & marketing efforts by Watsons, Vanity Youth bought it to test.

Pocket size stick which mentioned by magazines that you can sweep across your hair to fix hair style without dirtying your hands. Convenience Factor 5/5 stars Styling Factor: 3/5stars

Despite people claiming it's pretty packaging, I wasn't really amazed by the product & package design. I must say it's size & product design is quite similar to LUCIDO-L Japan Designing pot Hair Wax 20g (Mini Version) which cost around S$9. http://lucido-l.sg/product/wax04.html *For guys, you can try Gatsby Moving Rubber Series for the convenience & strong hold. Wow Factor: 3/5 stars Final Verdict: Not much of novelty, Matomage wax stick is just a new kid in the block. I could have gotten an alternative wax stick from Lucido at a cheaper price.
