I just wanted to give an update to everyone that a new Vanity release
is coming soon! The main focus of the release is compatibility with
newer versions of Rails. The test suite now passes with any
combination of the following configurations:

Ruby 1.8.7, 1.9.2
data-stores: mysql, redis, mongodb
rails versions 2.3.x, 3.0.x, 3.1.x, 3.2.x

There are still many open issues and pull requests that I'm trying to
get through, but basic compatibility is complete. I am writing now to
ask for help in one of two ways:

* If you have an open pull request and I haven't merged it, it's
probably because it is missing tests. I'll get to all of these
eventually, but it would be a huge help if you could write a test for
the bug you are fixing.
* Please test your rails app against the master branch of
https://github.com/assaf/vanity - the tests all pass, but I know there
are gaps in the test suite and I won't be able to manually test all
configurations so help finding those gaps and reporting bugs would be
greatly appreciated.

As a final note: barring any major bugs, this next release will be the
final release that supports rails 2.3. Thanks in advance for the help,
I'm looking forward to shipping a much more robust and up-to-date
version of vanity in the next couple of weeks.
