Hi All,

 

Please inform whatever knowledge you have or come to know about institutes who are accepting GATE scores and about the institutes conducting separate examination for Computer Science.

 

For now, the update i have is IIIT-Hyderabad has started taking applications for their M.Tech and M.S. courses. Please refer the website :

I m not gettng it means, IIIT-H conduct their own entrance other than
GATE. So this means that GATE score is not required for IIIT-H only
their score is main crateria. Is it like that. Reply

ofcourse....any of the IIIT are not under gate.......

yes evaluation is based on their test only. But if you have qualified GATE but you are taking admission to IIIT-H then you get 8000 p.m stipend

Even in all IIT's and NIT's also u will get the same amount as
stipend ......this amount is actually sanctioned by Government for
postgraduate courses...

No, it doesn't like that , i want to say that, 8000 is fixed amount
for stipend for almost all the colleges, only some private clg's are
there which give more stipend, i dont know which are they, but
otherwise all clg's give 8000 as stipend even all IIIT's also.....
Whenever u go for post graduation in any clg's u will get the stipend
for sure....

guys you are making it all confused. Stipend is given only in government colleges. IIIT-h is deemed. So if you crack gate but do not get any college and you take admission to iiit-h then you get 8000 p.m stipend. If you havent cracked gate but still u make it to iiit-h you dont get any stipend. fees is 62,500 per semester.

last date of form submission is 18th march. So i will wait and see how gate results turn out and then fill the form :)
