An article in today's Columbian features local woman Monique Dupree,
who teaches classes on how to eat more locably and sustainably on a
budget. It is added to our page on news stories relevant to food and
food security in the area.

Independence Day is a terrific time to consider how food systems keep
us healthy, strong and free, and The Columbian has been doing a great
job promoting local food and culture, including a July 4 editorial at
