Here's what I've managed to confirm so far:
Key Note Address by Sadie-Ryanne Baker
How the DC trans coalition (DCTC) went about lobbying to change the DC prison system so that they now house people according to their gender identity instead of genitals.
Organizing Trans Communities for Social Justice by Sadie-Ryanne Baker
Join Sadie-Ryanne, of the DC Trans Coalition, and learn how to help your community fight for human rights, dignity, and equal access!
Trans people are more likely to be un/underemployed, homeless, victims of hate violence, profiled by police or trapped in the criminal justice system. This cycle of injustice and violence punishes us for being who we are.
We envision a world where all people – regardless of race, income, occupation, immigration status or age – can self-determine their gender, free from poverty or harassment. To help us get there, we must empower those who are most affected by oppression to take control of our lives and hold decision-makers accountable.
DCTC will share some of our victories and difficulties trying to create that kind of change as a group of unfunded volunteers – changing laws, hosting town-hall dinners, offering ‘know your rights’ trainings and more. We’ll brainstorm ways to take these tools home and equip ourselves to make our own communities safer and stronger.

Forum Theatre Troupe Presentation by YouthCO AIDS Society
The Troupe uses a model of Forum Theatre based on "Theatre of the Oppressed" which was developed in Brazil by Augusto Boal as a way for people to address the oppression that they face from day to day. The idea is that Forum Theatre is a dress rehearsal for life in which people can experiment with different ways of existing and interacting in the world. The Forum Theatre Troupe respects each individual's right to make their own decisions in order to address their specific needs and realities.
Safer Sex/Harm Reduction Workshop by YouthCo AIDS Society
YouthCO's Sexual Health Programs offer a variety of flexible and interactive games and workshops on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, negotiating safer sex and sexual self-esteem. Our workshop formats and content are flexible and may be customized to meet the needs of your group. Each workshop runs approximately 90 minutes.
Here are the ones that aren't confirmed 100% but are definitely in the works:
Getting more out of your trans health service providers by Kate Lamothe
This workshop would happen in two parts. On the Saturday, I want to invite folks who are clients of Raven Song, Three Bridges, Transgender Health Program, Prism, QMUNITY, Bute Street Clinic, and other Vancouver area trans health service providers to come up with a list of recommendations they would like these organizations to receive. Topics could include such things as: how to be less judgemetal in their service provision, non-binary/genderqueer/gender non-conforming people's concerns and issues, and intake forms/waiting room protocol.
Then, on Sunday, I want to host a workshop where I present the results of the previous day's workshop to the service providers from those organizations and then facilitate a discussion around how those recommendations could be implemented. When I write up my full description, I will make it explicitly clear that service providers from these organizations are not allowed to be present in the Saturday workshop, so as to protect people's anonymity.
