I received a cheque for $50 from the SFU Women's Centre. It was issued a while ago, and as such it is made out in my name. I do need to print off fliers this weekend for our house party benefit at the end of the month, so I'm just going to cash it rather than have them reissue it under TAS' name.  I will be sure to keep the record of the cheque, as well as the receipts for the fliers.
Just thought I'd give ya'll a heads up.

Cheers:
Kate

Just a quick question for Marie, Emily, and Gwen:

When organizations write us cheques made out to Trans Alliance Society, should they then send the cheques to one of you to be deposited into the account?  What mailing address should I use?

Also, what is the acct info for that second TAS account we're using?

Thx!
xoxo

Thought I'd re-post Corey's message in this thread too, just in case
it may reach Members of the financial committee easier:

I was wondering if it was possible to send a most recent audited
statement and a list of all the board members. As this may be needed
with one of our funding proposals.

Also, i was wondering if a quick budget could be done up. I know
there was a draft budget sent out earlier. anyway, if that could be
done that would help the funding proposal end of things. thanks
alot.

Namaste,
Corey

Just got confirmation from the Hospital Union Pink Triangle folks and apparently the cheque was sent out Monday, July 12th...so it should be in TAS' mailbox by tomorrow or Friday.

$250

Yay!
