Take a few moments for the VSB Environmental Sustainability Survey?
Background:
The Vancouver School Board has been advancing sustainability for many years. District staff, teachers, and stakeholders have implemented projects and activities in their classrooms, at their schools, and in their community. These include energy-saving retrofits, renewable energy systems, waste reduction, local food systems, and numerous other student- and teacher-led initiatives. These enhance the educational and operational efficiency of our District.
In 2010, the Board established a sustainability vision to be the “greenest, most sustainable school district in North America”. As part of defining that vision, the District is conducting a review of our activities to determine where we are now, what we are doing well, and what we can be doing in the future.
Why a Survey?
As a first step in the review we are reaching out to our District community to get input from them. We invite all our district community - students, teachers, administrators, staff, and parents to complete the brief on-line survey below. We look forward to your input!
