In 1973, Leo and "The Hit" rode the racing Greyhound to Dryden
Ontario. "The Hit" was happy to get out of the town drunks son's job,
and suddenly Harvey's Run pit stopping in Oxdrift didn't look as bad
as it once seamed. Humboldt, Watrous, Yorkton, Ear Falls, and Oxdrift
in 1973 seamed a lot brighter. "The Hit" had enough of the mattress
on the floor with the town drunk barking. He was also convinced there
was no Mysterious Financier along the way from Dryden to St. Brieux
and back to Dryden. Leo and "The Hit" boarded the bus, and they
worked their way back to Oxdrift. "The Hit" was also convinced there
was no Mysterious Financier in Oxdrift to this date. "The Hit"
settled into life at school in Oxdrift in the second half of his
school year in the spring of 1974. "The Hit" continued his grade 7 in
the Oxdrift Public School in Mr Davidson's class. Meanwhile in 1998,
the racing Greyhound charged past Winfield 08:20, Oyama 08:25, Vernon
08:50am, Armstrong 09:20, Enderby 09:40, and Salmon Arm 10:05 through
the Rocky Mountains cast in shadows with sunlight rising.
