City of Vancouver updates VanDashboard on the Open Data Portal

Hi,

VanDashboard is a public dashboard on the Open Data Portal that showcases performance data for select City of Vancouver services in six categories.  To provide more relevance to City priorities, strategies, and the work being done, the City has added nine new indicators, and retired four indicators bringing the total for the dashboard to 70.  The data has been refreshed for 2022 where possible.  Here is a detailed list of the changes to the indicators: 

  • Core service delivery category
    • Added Water main system renewed
    • Added Sewer system renewed
    • Added Corporate social media engagement
    • Retired Budget survey responses from residents
    • Retired Budget survey responses from businesses
  • Economy and finances category
    • Added Jobs in the City of Vancouver
    • Added Commercial storefront vacancy rate
    • Added Major office space approved
    • Added Hotel room inventory
    • Retired Vancouver residents employed
  • Affordability and housing category
    • Added New and replacement childcare spaces approved
  • Vibrant Culture category
    • Added Special events on streets
    • Retired Projects and special events using public space
