Creating new pages?

Hey guys, I have some gems to put on the wiki but it's not set up like
it used to be. How does one create a new page, then tie it into the
special categories (browse categories) link?

I still think we need to put an Index on the thing. I could do it my
hand, using the categories already established in the special categories
listing. Then people can directly edit that page and add new categories.
By clicking on the new link, if a page does not already exist, the wiki
will open the editor so the new page can be created.

But first I'd like to add my new content. I feel like a simpleton asking
how to do so, because I was an early proponent and user of the old wiki.
This one has me stumped.
