Help locating a page

I just wrote a rather long and detailed description of how to install a
headlight warning buzzer. I finished the editing, then clicked "upload
files" to upload a couple photos, which I did. Then I found that all the
changes for the page I had been working on were gone. It was a blank
page. The wiki did not warn me before I navigated away.

Does someone know if there is a secret cache where the page might be
lurking?

Yeah, that was the first thing I tried.

Is this a Mediawiki setting that can be changed? "Confirm before navigating away from unsaved page?"
