Key Responsibilities:
Technical support for vendor packaged and in-house developed administration
systems
Provide assistance to Business Systems Analysts in identifying business
users needs/requirements, process improvement opportunities, and
opportunities to leverage technology
Perform the technical aspects of system implementations (vendor packages or
in-house developed) including detail design specifications, development,
data conversions, interfacing, and integration with other systems
Manage the technical environment for the datawarehouse; install and
implement end-user tools; create extract and transformation programs; create
standard query templates
Participate in Year 2000 Project by performing remediation work and testing,
or development of in-house solutions
Build strong working relationships with the business areas
Plan and implement all software upgrades, including customizations and
testing
Note: this is NOT a position for someone wanting to do software development
Key Qualifications/Skills:
Solid experience supporting and developing in client/server and 3-tier
application environments
Strong leadership and organization skills, proven by on-time, on-budget
delivery of small to medium scale projects
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations, and facilitate meetings,
information gathering sessions
Working knowledge of Maintenance, Engineering and Airport Operations
business functions
Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent documentation
skills.
Experience implementing Enterprise-Wide packaged software applications such
as Maximo and TMS, running on an Oracle RDBMS.
Experience developing reporting applications and interfacing in an
Oracle/UNIX environment using Oracle Forms 4.5, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Designer
2000, Crystal Reports and OLAP tools. Familiar with web server technology
and HTML
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, email, VISIO
Term = Permanent.
