I like to get my hair done at least once a week, as a treat - but
can't afford $25 every week! I was hoping I could find an even more
inexpensive place so I can afford it and still treat myself.
Any suggestions? I live at 4th & Granville so something close would
be nice.

Look up Hairdressing Schools in the yellow pages (I don't have a Vancouver book
here, or I would've); they usually give a good price on services (about half of
regular salons)
