Ran my errands the homeless guy in the truck thanked me for the 3 A and W root beers I gave on was scratching a large scratch ticket. It is pouring rain out 2 White guys were putting up tarps and plastic at the Newton Center sign on KGH that is where I found the root beer earlier. Ran into a woman at Shopper's Drug Mart I remembered from drinking at Kelly's Pub asked her to say hi to the relatives of mine that work with her at a local company. Some Indo woman felt it necessary to tell me her son was not a douchbag outside Shopper's don't know her. Walked by Brewster's Pub at 6 PM only 2 customers lots of burned out lights on the outside. Ran into the tradesman guy from the first floor in the recycling room never realized how bad his English was (Francais guy) or how horrid his teeth the guy smokes.
Bad economic news Canadian Tire is laying off 3% of its employees. Someone I know who works at a big loading dock 50 bays say they are cancelling shifts says some days not a single container shows up. Interglobe Building Supplies is hiring drivers they are on 135 St. My throat is sore on the left side for some reason. MS Society sent me a letter with a stamp asking for a donation those liars I will never donate to them again and have told them that previously. Time for Thursday Night Football TV decided to not show channels again.

Checked my blood pressure at Shoppers Drug Mart one was slightly high the other normal first time I have used one of the machines at a Shopper's that the print receipt worked. Have to go out and buy postage stamps and food.
The prov. Green party leader fired her unelected deputy a Dr. for saying Dr. Bonnie Henry was like the nazi war criminal Mengele.
The deputy leader of the BC Green Party has been removed after liking a social media post that compared Dr. Bonnie Henry to Nazi doctor Josef Mengele.
Leader Sonia Furstenau announced the move in a statement on Twitter Wednesday night.
"Today, I was made aware of Dr. Sanjiv Gandhi, deputy leader, liking a tweet with an inappropriate comparison between our provincial health officer and Mengele. I find this unacceptable and I have removed Dr. Gandhi as deputy leader and accepted his resignation as a candidate," she wrote.
Gandhi was named deputy leader in January. He is former chief of pediatric cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at BC Children's Hospital and has been an outspoken critic of the government's health-care policy, including its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Green Party had vetted Gandhi's candidacy, said Furstenau, at a Thursday news conference where she spoke about his removal.
“We do not as a party tolerate hateful rhetoric,” she said. “This party continues to condemn rhetoric that aligns with extreme or hateful narratives, particularly any minimizing of the Holocaust.”
In a statement Thursday, Gandhi said he liked the September post "inadvertently" and in error, and that he has since "unliked" it.
"We can be passionate and aggressive in criticizing the government, but personal attacks are categorically wrong, as was my misplaced 'like,'" his statement says.
"As the subject of considerable racism in my own life, I know that words matter, and I do not condone the belittling or demonization of any group of people for any reason, including those based on race or religion. I am sorry for the harm I have caused."
The decision to withdraw his candidacy was made in consultation with Furstenau and because of the impact the controversy would have on the campaign trail.
"I recognize that my mistake and others capitalizing on that mistake will be an unavoidable distraction," his statement continued.
He also stood by his assessment that the health-care system in B.C. is broken and that the government has failed to address the issues plaguing it.
"I hope that message, and not my blunder on Twitter, a viper pit of vitriol, encourages others to continue to demand more for British Columbians. Hopefully, in time, I personally can find another avenue to do the same," the statement concluded
Gandhi was set to run in the 2024 election for a seat in Vancouver-Renfrew, which is a new riding that covers most of the Vancouver-Kingsway constituency currently represented by Health Minister Adrian Dix.
Asked about the situation Thursday, Dix defended the province's handling of the pandemic and praised Henry's leadership through it. He said dropping Gandhi was "appropriate" in the circumstances, and called described his social media activity as "unacceptable" and "disgraceful."
Premier David Eby said Gandhi's social media behaviour represented a “reprehensible” attack on Henry, a dedicated public servant who helped guide the province through the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am glad the Dr. apologized glad he was fired from the Green party but I have seen and heard record amounts of racist hate from Indo's this past year anti-Black comments anti-Native anti White. The Dr. is correct that twit is pit of vitrol so why use it?

Picked up litter out front of the building and in the alley there was not much. Found 3 sealed bottles of A and W root beer just north of Shoppers Drug Mart by chance saw the homeless guys truck in the King's Cross Mall and put it by his vehicle. Arco Hotel in the DTES witness says 6 shots fired victim in hospital around 1 AM.
A man is in hospital after being shot outside a hotel in downtown Vancouver, on the border of Chinatown and the Downtown Eastside.
Vancouver police responded to a call of shots fired outside the Arco Hotel around 1 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found the victim with injuries.
The Arco Hotel, located on West Pender Street near Abbot Street, is a single-room occupancy supportive housing facility managed by Atira.
It is unknown at this time if the victim, a man in his 30s, and the suspect(s) knew each other, police said.
Global News employee and downtown Vancouver resident Phil Figueiredo said he was awoken by gunfire.
“I woke up to six shots being fired.… I’ve been in and out of sleep since then,” he said around 2 a.m.
“Police blocked off Pender from Carrall Street heading west.”
Const. Tania Visintin said the investigation is in its early stages and not much information is available at this time.
No suspects have been arrested.
In Montreal two synagogues were hit with gunfire Trudeau condemned the incident his riding is in Montreal. As did the Quebec Premier.
Two Jewish schools hit by gunfire in Montreal, Trudeau condemns actions
WATCH: “No matter how strongly felt your fears or convictions are, it doesn't give you the right to do what we saw yesterday at Concordia or in the shots fired at Jewish schools today in Montreal. These are not who we are,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday condemned two incidents in Montreal in which two Jewish schools were struck by bullets overnight.
“This hate doesn’t have its place here in Montreal, or anywhere in Quebec or anywhere in Canada,” Trudeau told reporters during a news conference.
Montreal police say staff members discovered bullet holes on the outside of the two schools located on St-Kevin Avenue and Deacon Road when they arrived in the morning.
Const. Jean-Pierre Brabant said no injuries were reported and that both incidents took place at night when the buildings were empty.
No arrests have been made but security perimeters were set up at both schools. Police wouldn’t name the specific schools involved, but the streets are located in the central part of Montreal.

Trudeau laments ‘terrifying’ rise in antisemitism in Canada amid Israel-Hamas conflict
In wake of the shootings, Trudeau urged Canadians to denounce violent antisemitism in the strongest terms and called for calm.
“We need to remind ourselves who we are. I know that emotions are strong,” Trudeau said. “People are scared and in mourning. But for Canadians to attack each other, it’s not what we do.”
Quebec Premier François Legault told reporters at the same news conference that what happened to the two schools cannot be tolerated.
“This isn’t the Quebec I love,” Legault said. “This isn’t the Quebec we want.”
The latest incident comes after police officers were called to Concordia University on Wednesday afternoon. Three people were injured and one person was arrested after several violent incidents tied to the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Legault said what unfolded in the last two days in Montreal is “completely unacceptable.”
The Quebec premier also called on police forces to act: “We don’t want hate and violence in Quebec, and we won’t tolerate this.”
