Some time ago I purchased a couple of smoked fish fillets at ASDA believing them to be bass, I was mistaken, they were in fact river cobbler or Basa a kind of catfish that is farmed, I have read, in the highly polluted waters of the Mekong river.

Oblivious to this fact I fried the fish and served it to my wife as normal. having eaten mine I noticed she had pushed some aside, I asked why, she said there was something wrong with it. on closer examination I found a 12 centimetre long TAPE WORM in part of the fish remnants.
We both wanted to be sick at this discovery I returned the tape worm along with packaging and receipt to ASDA.
48 days later I phoned to find out why they had not contacted me. they responded by telling me that, and I quote " The sample that you kindly returned has been identified as a fat line".along with a £10 voucher
They must think I am stupid, I know a tape worm when I see it and I will never shop at ASDA again I am so disgusted with them!!!
