After 10 years living in Surrey I have found where the rez is walked by it many times didn't clue in. Some of the housing has views of the ocean. They don't want visitors and Genesis provides security.
Slept 7 hours then had a nap later filled with nightmares. Some ppl said hi which was nice. Had an hour walk, organized and tidied up my living room (2 hours) finally but the couch remains a mess aka the mail pit. Yesterday saw a Caucasian guy with bags hanging out behind the King's Cross Mall 4 hours later he was still there and another guy had joined him. An hour later GRC officer showed up had them move on everyone nice and polite he explained to the first guy there have been complaints that is why he was being moved on. A woman in the building walking her daughter saw all this as well and indicated her approval. Have a good night folks! Monkey pox has spread to Spain and France.

Hi,
Two pieces of wrong mail delivered to my slot today. Wrong postal code wrong block total idiocy or malfeasance. The other day a Lululemon parcel for the Thanti's in 311 was thrown into the recycle bin as was a parcel for the ppl in 405.
Earlier problems I have had with mail delivery to the building:
Hi,
Thank you Mr. Fortin for your reply. I just found it odd that the card which I have still only seemed to go to two mailboxes in my building which has 46 mailboxes. I wouldn't notice any change in mail carriers and I have lived here for 6 years. My Mom once told me a story about not liking the strange mail carrier that delivered to her family home in Edmonton I see no idea why someone would have to deal with a mail carrier if they didn't want to I never have and I am 57. Hope your Crown Corporation returns to profitability like it had in 2017. I mentioned previously problems with mail delivery to the building which I live in which made no sense and I received contradictory responses from officialdom.
Have A Good Day,
Greg Carr

Dear Mr. Carr:
Thank you for your February 22 email to the Honourable Filomena Tassi, PC, MP, among others, in which you mentioned Canada Post’s notice about conducting quality assurance in your neighbourhood. I wish to note Canada Post operates at arm’s-length from the federal government and as a financially self-sustaining business. While the Minister of Public Services and Procurement oversees the Corporation’s broad policy direction, the issues you raised are entirely within Canada Post’s purview. As such, your message was again entrusted to me for reply.
I can confirm the quality assurance we performed, which included 76th Avenue, was not the result of any specific incidents or concerns, but part of our routine process to ensure all Delivery Agents are working as safely and efficiently as possible. The notice you received was intended as a courtesy to reassure customers who may have noticed Canada Post employees other than their regular Letter Carrier in their neighbourhood. As I mentioned in my July 2021 reply to you, our Customer Service team remains a reliable first point of contact for any questions or concerns about Canada Post’s services – I want to thank you for your feedback about including this on our notice cards.
Canada Post’s Customer Service agents are able to look into local delivery concerns across the country, ensure feedback reaches the involved parties in a timely manner, and analyze all customer feedback to identify underlying patterns or discrepancies within our operations. I hope you will rely on them toward that end – they can be reached online or by telephone at
1‑866‑607‑6301 (TTY:

Hi,
Canada Post along with the unwanted flyers and ads which earn them money dropped off a little flyer showing a smiling postie
(great union they have) Serving You Better we were in your neighbourhood today conducting a quality and security check on your mail delivery. This is part of our regular monitoring process to ensure consistent quality of service and security of the mail that
our customers rely on. The number 23-043-121 appears on the bottom it is also in Francais. There is no phone number/email or url to contact if you have a complaint. I have never had mail stolen in the 6 years I have lived here but there was a problem with
misdirected mail which was fixed after I contacted the then Cabinet Minister Amand in charge of Canada Post the local Liberal MP Mr. Dhaliwal and strata did as well never believed the official story that the problem was with the lobby lighting but strata said
they improved it looks
the same to me.

Hello Greg,
Thank you for your email.
Canada Post management has provided our office with the following information pertaining to the mail service:
"Delivery was never interrupted at this location. What I can tell you is that we did post a notice for strata to investigate the lighting situation as it is a Health & Safety issue for our employees. That said, one of our supervisors went out last Friday to find out that despite light being comparatively low, found the situation to be adequate for the time being. We are planning on following up with the strata management directly to see if we work together to correct the lighting situation."
We were also advised that it is becoming more rare where people would get mail everyday.
Hope this information is of assistance.
All the best,
Pavan Bahia

Hi,
I never received an explanation for why mail service for the building was caught off but it has resumed.

Hi,
I haven't received mail in 3 days. A notice appeared on the mailboxes in the lobby Friday stating because of dim lighting in the lobby mail service might be cut off until the situation was rectified. There was no contact info on the notice. The lighting could be brighter in the lobby but all the lights are working and this excuse is totally made up does the mail carrier for some reason have a beef with the building? Mail is delivered by 2PM on weekdays so there is also natural light from the sun coming through the lobby doors and windows which are clear. Postal carriers make a decent wage higher than I ever had in my working life plus they get benefits and a company pension I didn't get a company pension least they can do is deliver the mail.
