1. Winter Concert Part I - Tues., Dec, 8th at 7:30 PM

This concert involves all 7th and 8th grade performing groups
including 7th grade band, 8th grade band, 7th and 8th grade orchestra,
and 7th and 8th grade chorus.

2. Winter Concert Part II - Thurs., Dec. 10th at 7:30 PM

This involves all 6th grade performing groups including 6th grade
band, 6th grade orchestra, 6th grade chorus, and jazz ensemble.

3. As you know, the annual food drive is on its way ( November 30th -
December 12th)
This is such a worthwhile cause during the Holiday Season. We have a
lot of Van Wyck families that are in need of our help.

I am sure we all know someone who has been affected by our economic
situation. Just think next year this time, who knows whose name will
be on that list. Show your Van Wyck spirit and give a little, or what
you have. Everything is appreciated. We will have drop boxes in the
main lobby if you'd like to bring in a non-perishable item. These
boxes will be there for both concert performances.

4. Attention 7th and 8th grade chorus: The concert is this evening
at 7:30. Please arrive at the school between 6:45 and 7:00 and meet
Mr. King in the cafeteria.

5. Attention to all Drama students who are in "Fiddler on the Roof"
and are singing "Sabbath Prayer," you have vocal rehearsal Wed. and
Thurs. from 3 to 4 pm with Mrs. Buergers. This is a mandatory
rehearsal and you must bring your vocal books. Any questions, please
see Mrs. Muhammad.

6. Reminder to all Student Gov't Christmas committee members. We
will meet after school today.
