2. In one of the most exciting modified baseball games of all time,
Van Wyck came from behind twice to tie and then beat Wappingers Junior
High 8 to 7 in extra innings on Thursday night. This was a total team
effort. The team plays at Unionvale today.

3. Attention 7th and 8th grade orchestra members. Please remember to
sign up for and attend your final playing exam. This is a major part
of your grade and the spots are almost gone! Please come sign up on
the lesson room door if you have not done so.

4. Many library books are overdue. These books must be returned
immediately or, if lost, they must be paid for.

5. The Igniters will be meeting today after school until 3:50. There
will be free snacks and games for all who attend. Club wristbands are
on sale for a dollar. Please meet in the cafetria. You can take the
late bus home.

6. The girls softball team lost a battle against Wappingers Junior on
Thursday. It was a great defensive effort by all.
