Hi VB Fam,

Less than 1 week to go!!!  We are planning to do a 50/50 raffle at the Block Party. We will also be raffling off some other items- I am donating photobooth services, we have some t- shirts and some small items that have been donated. We feel this is also a great opportunity to not only raise some funds for next year but to better introduce ourselves to one another. 

Please consider donating an item or service for raffle. This is a great way for us to get to know one another better, share resources and celebrate one another's skills and accomplishments. Perhaps you have a small business or special talent... maybe you have a famous pie or sangria recipe? Maybe you started a clothing line? This is an amazing opportunity to showcase what we're made of and celebrate in community?!?! 

I know Van Buren is an incredibly special block and we are looking forward to seeing what you got !!!!!

You can reply to me separately, I would like to create a list of items and organize the raffle prior to Thursday.

Thank you for your quick responses. We have a really amazing working list of donations to raffle off 

The extremely talented Jennie has contributed a very special luxe hair treatment. Details coming shortly 

Rhondas daughter and a genius designer ,Tyesha has added a custom varsity jacket from her original line 

Keisha will be offering up a batch of her much requested, highly celebrated Rum Punch 

Sara is offering photobooth services for your next special event 

Please Van Buren- keep the ideas and the fun coming! 

Show BKLYN what we're made of! Get creative... maybe offer to help a neighbor take out the trash, pet sit, dog walk?!?!? 

I've got 1000 raffle tickets to sell!
