Opportunity for “Informatica Developer” opening @ Watertown, MA.                                         

Title: Informatica Developer

Location: Watertown, MA

Length: 6 months contract  

Interview Mode: In-Person Interview

 

Position Description: Our Client is looking for a Jr to Mid-level Informatica developer. This candidate will be coming in and spending 90% of their day coding.

 

Authoring detailed designs in accordance with solution architecture, enterprise and technology principles and standards.

Using Informatica to code components of significant complexity based on the project requirements and assigned technical design.

Following all phases of  standard SDLC methodologies including Design, Development, Testing and Quality Assurance Support

Participating in and contributing to technical requirements, operational support documentation, collaborative design discussions and peer reviews.

Complies with departmental quality assurance, audit, design and code review standards – CMMI.

Reviewing project deliverables and providing input to Solution Architects on an appropriate development strategy

Proactively providing timely task and project updates to peers, team leader/manager, as appropriate.

Using judgment and analytical skills through experience and proactively asking the relevant questions to clarify work instruction or to analyze an issue.

Eager to learn new tools and technologies and maintain awareness of industry developments

Sharing technical information, knowledge, and expertise.

 

Must haves:

 

2-5+ years’ experience as an Informatica Developer (client currently using Powercenter 9.6)

Strong experience with Oracle databases

Experience using Informatica to code compenents included in project requirements and within the assigned technical design

 

Nice to haves:

Unix/Linux platform experience

Experience with ElasticSearch and/or Hadoop

Healthcare industry experience
