Hello VAMPIRE users,
I wanted to ask some additional info about sim:preconditioning-steps . I want to reference to post [1] . Here I am trying to equilibrate a domain wall at 10 K and then run a temperature + B pulse as the second input. As you can see due to finite temeprature I see some oscillations in in plane spin components which exist even after very long equillibration times, instead I tried equilibrating at 0 K and use preconditioning steps = 1000. Now for the second input I have to cycle through applied-field-direction = 0,0,1 and 0,0,0 and 0,0,-1 using a bash script to edit input files. Even though I have the same random-integer-seed for all 2 cases they start from different initial states which is puzzling. can someone explain if this expected behaviour from using preconditioning ?
