VAMPIRE workshop at FAST Conference, Phuket, Thailand 2-6 Feb 2026

Dear VAMPIRE users,

I wanted to let everyone know about the upcoming VAMPIRE workshop at the FAST Conference 2-6 February  2026, in Phuket, Thailand:

This will be the first VAMPIRE workshop in Asia, in easy reach of India, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia and Singapore. I will be there to give tutorials on the basics of VAMPIRE as well as on simulating antiferromagnets and altermagnets, with other lead developers presenting on new and exciting features of the code such as spin transport, spin-lattice dynamics and spin waves. There is the opportunity to present your own work at the conference, as well as additional time for discussions and technical issues. There is also a fantastic list of world-leading speakers for the main conference. Please do share with colleagues and students who may be beginners or experts in using VAMPIRE or atomistic spin models in general.
