Assertion failed in file typerep_yaksa_pack.c at line 315

Hi!

I am using vampire-parallel with command: "mpirun -np 12 ./vampire-parallel". But the vampire returns the following error messages:

System decomposed into 1 x 1 x 12 processors for parallel execution
Assertion failed in file src/mpi/datatype/typerep/src/typerep_yaksa_pack.c at line 315: FALSE
memcpy argument memory ranges overlap, dst_=0x7ffda526f4b0 src_=0x7ffda526f4ac len_=8

Abort(1) on node 0: Internal error

I have tried to download and reinstall the MPICH but it does not work.

I would be very grateful If you could give me any help.

Hi Shan,

This is an MPICH error. I am not sure why recommendations to use MPICH still exist - openMPI has replaced it and is far more functional and performant. So, please try with openMPI instead.
