I know the site says there is not authentication....but is there any plans on adding an authentication mechanism? Ideally we would like an authentication method between vsAgent and vsConsole. Also an authentication mechanism to log into the vsConsole would be nice (like using LDAP) to allow users access.

I'd be happy to work towards features like these if there was enough interest. It's hard to know how many people are using the product and how much effort to put into it at this point.
Can I ask why you are interested in authentication between the agent? Are you running in prod environments? It would be easy to simply configure a token that vsConsole included in the request to vsAgent, but to avoid it being read by network sniffers would require a bit more work - would you be concerned about network sniffers?
I was considering rewriting vsConsole using primefaces - and potentially opensourcing it. But I'd need to gauge interest first.
