I thank you, Linda, for inviting me to join this group.

I have 20+ years of EA/AA experience in corporate environments and
"contract" assignments primarily in sales/marketing in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada and the Greater GTA area. Seven years ago I moved
north and found that Administration positions were few and far between
and chose to enter a Self Employment Assistance program through the
government. I started a small business which has not grown to
expectations but part of my business plan included providing
administrative services to small and medium local businesses. From
there, I discovered Virtual Assistance and launched Alternative Office
Assistance in 2005.

I provide services primarily in desktop publishing, bookkeeping,
contact management and marketing/research. I am a member of three
virtual assistant teams where I bring my specialties to the group to
service their clients special needs and have individual clients of my
own.

I enjoy working from home and managing my own business while I feed my
passion for learning new technology and programs to provide excellent
customer satisfaction to my clients. And I enjoy helping businesses
grow and succeed. I also enjoy the diversity of the businesses I
serve.

I am looking forward to being an active member of this group to meet
and mingle with others who share a passion for this career through
learning and mentoring.
