Is innovation organic or managed? Any given innovation develops and
spreads organically as a natural adaptive activity in industry
ecosystems, professional fields, and markets.
A traditional approach to innovation attempts to manage it as a linear
“stage gate” process. A better approach is monitoring and managing the
innovation “phase changes” in an already existing network.
