I used a facebook account to sign in a game on my iphone ( the game is "top eleven"). Now I want to change the account and use another one because I have more friends in 2nd account.Already used 2nd account's username and password in setting but didn't work, even deleted facebook app and installed it again and signed in with 2nd one but when I open the game it runs with 1st one.how can I solve this problem ?thanks
You need to change the Facebook login in the app itself. There should be Settings somewhere within the game, and the option to "Log Out" of Facebook. Once you have logged out, you will need to link it to your 2nd Facebook account by logging into it - again - within the app itself.
I want to be able to give the ability to my user to essentially switch to a different account from my app, so if the user is logged into his personal Facebook account upon calling FB.login from the app rather than it automatically taking his personal account the user will have the ability to enter in the details to another account, or at least when calling FB.logout rather than just invalidating the access token in the current app it will force logout the user from Facebook so that on FB.login this time he will be promoted for login details.
You can remove permissions FB.api('/me/permissions', 'delete', function(response) ); and if after that you will login again then you will have the posibility to switch the facebook account. enter image description here But you will loose the access token for current account.
The app allows the user to sign in using Facebook, but I am having trouble with when the using wants to use a different Facebook account to sign in, this page will only show the continue button. Is there a way for the user to choose to use a different account for signing in? Also, I have not really seem any error in the case for FacebookLoginStatus.error, what are some error handling that should be done to it?I am new to flutter and coding, it will be helpful to point out if anything should be done differently or can be improve on.
And this i strange cuz this is not my account, this is my friends account who I thought I logged out from and back in to mine.. I log in on my facebook account and its fine all the way, until I click "Community" here on Spotifys page.. then it changes to my friends account.
PlayFab identifys Facebook users by their user IDs. Different IDs will result in different account. From the responses you've shared, this player has different user IDs. I'm not sure what happened here. But the app-scoped user ID should be same no matter where you got it. This is because app-scoped user IDs will be different for different Facebook Apps. But in your scenario, both the Android and iOS app should be under the same Facebook App using the same App ID. They are simply different platforms.
Because PlayFab API calls in Unity SDK is asynchronous, your actual behavior is to create 2 accounts or log into two separate accounts. Since the login identity will be overwritten by the latest login, the player will continue with Facebook account.
If you want to log into an existing account, you may remove the LoginWithCustomID API call in line 19, otherwise, you may implement it as a onclick listen like what you do for Facebook login and let the player choose.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the accounts I posted, it looks like the same Facebook account is linked to both of them which shouldn't be possible. I expected to be able to log in to the same account when using Facebook login, but instead it looks like an entirely new account was created.
Logging in with a custom id is the intended behaviour so we can call Playfab APIs without having to bother the player with logging in. They can choose to login with Facebook at a later date. Once they log in with Facebook on multiple devices I would have expected it to log them in to one account and not create multiple accounts linked to Facebook.
Toward the end of the post it says that if you use the different login methods (classic vs limited) on iOS you will get two accounts. For example, if a user who previously logged in with the classic method now goes to log in with the limited login method.
I would expect for a user who created an account with the classic login method on Android to be able to login with the classic login method on iOS and be able to log the user into an existing account rather than creating a new account. Is this not possible any more?
Due to the latest policy of iOS, it seems to be impossible. However, PlayFab is able to link multiple login identities to the same account. For the solution on iOS, you may refer to this thread: Unity SDK. Facebook login: Playfab creates different accounts instead of using already created - Playfab Community
To be clear, I already had a Facebook account linked to player id 1BB7E62D14EE9380. Upon pressing the login with Facebook button, on iOS, it created a completely separate Playfab account i.e. 97E808C9B1F5D522. It did not log me in to the existing account that was already linked with Facebook.
For all those who has the same issue, if you no longer want to log-in using facebook for your airbnb account, all you have to do is set a password. Go to www.airbnb.com/forgot_password. Just enter the email address on the airbnb account. A reset password link will be sent to that email and just follow through with the process.
Your post is a bit confusing. I have the same problem. I want to be able to login with an email/password because logging in with FB is not possible using my work computer. Is it possible to login to the same Airbnb account using either FB, Google or email/password? If not how do I switch from using FB to email/password without signing up for a new account.
Knowing your login method can solve many issues. Every user starts the game using the Guest method. It is important to remember that an Guest account can only be accessed locally from the device on which it was created, and if you have to perform a factory reset on your device, you will lose the ability to access your account. However, all account information is stored on our servers and not remotely on devices, so it is still possible that we can retrieve your progress. To avoid complications, we strongly recommend that you secure your Guest account.
Securing your account to an e-mail address is the best way to secure your progress. You will be able to access your account from any device, including from different platforms. To secure your account to an email address, make sure to follow these steps:
If your My Singing Monsters account uses the Facebook login method, all you need to do to access your account on a new device is to ensure you are signed into the Facebook application on the new device, launch the game, and log in via Facebook on the loading screen.
A Guest My Singing Monsters account cannot be secured to a Facebook account. If you wish to have your account assigned to the Facebook login method, you will need to create a new account using the Facebook method and contact us providing the BBB ID of this new account and the BBB ID of your original progress so we can transfer the progress for you. To create a new account with Facebook login, make sure to follow these steps:
If your My Singing Monsters account uses the Game Center login method, all you need to do to access your account on a new device is to ensure you are signed into the Game Center application on the new device, launch the game, and log in via Game Center on the loading screen.
A Guest My Singing Monsters account cannot be secured to a Game Center account. If you wish to have your account assigned to the Game Center login method, you will need to create a new account using the Game Center method and contact us providing the BBB ID of this new account and the BBB ID of your original progress so we can transfer the progress for you. To create a new account with Game Center login, make sure to follow these steps:
You can regain access to your old account by tapping Log Out from the Options Menu, then the Change User button in the lower left corner of the screen, and selecting the login method associated with your account.
If you are playing via Guest login, there is no guarantee that you will be able to access your account after deleting and reinstalling the game, owing to a large number of factors. It is highly recommended, whenever possible, to secure a Guest account by securing it to email login.
Account Settings message:
Account Settings is for making changes to an account that you are logged into. Therefore it makes sense that you can't change the user name of that account to one being used by another account. It doesn't matter if they're both accounts that you created, you can't do that as it would result in duplicate addresses/user names. Account Settings isn't for logging in to a different account.
If the message concerned the email address then you need to reinstall the app and use that email address to log in with. If you're not sure what email address goes with a particular user name then go here: _Forgotten_Email.html
Many MANY times this is the result of a person misspelling the email address either when they first created an account or when trying to access an existing account. What happens is that you accidentally create multiple accounts. Unfortunately it can be more confusing when one of those accounts was created through Facebook. Multiple accounts requires ZWF Support intervention so they can sort out what's what and delete extraneous accounts.
Later builds tried to mitigate those situations by detecting if you had connected from a given device and/or Facebook and try to guide you to the right login choices.
