Not only is DS4win able to emulate and connect your controller to Windows, but you are also able to remap and rebind your keys/buttons to anything you want (including keyboard, mouse, joysticks, lightbar, rumble/vibration and motion sensors, also known as gyro).

Choosing DS4Windows will give you the best gaming experience with less input lag and latency issues compared to other paid apps. In addition to added customization options, now you can always play with a controller and bypass game limitations!

I am trying to migrate form my Windows-based UniFi controller to a UDM-SE. I was hoping to export a backup and restore, but the setup wizard doesn't like any of the manual backups (Settings Only, and 7-Day), and there are no backups in my Cloud Account.

Any type of Delivery controller role installation on Windows Server 2019 Core fails somehow, or never ends. I've tried mounting .iso and starting installation normally via "AutoSelect.exe", but once i choose Delivery Controller window just dissappears, msiexec does something for a few minutes and then terminates. No new services/folders whatsoever.

I've tried launching installation via powershell and cmd with varoius switches like /quite /COMPONENTS controller /nosql, in that case the process XenDesktopServerSetup.exe just hangs there and changes PID every second for eternity, and again does not seem to install anything.

I have installed the Delivery Controller and Director roles with no issue on both WS2019 Core and WS2022 Core.

As mentioned, on WS2019 you need .NET 4.8 and a reboot after the .NET 4.8 install before continuing with the install. I usually install the prereqs before the delivery controller and director roles and then do a manual reboot.

If it still doesn't work, we'll have to have a look at the installer log file.

Can I set up Windows 11 Pro as a domain controller to allow read/write ability for family members logging in from other computers on my home network? How do I do that? Is there a reference article someone can point me to?

Active Directory requires a Domain Controller, which needs to be set up on a Windows Server operating system.

You can use Hyper-V on the Windows 11 Pro machine, to virtualize a domain controller but... all of what you wrote sounds kind of like a hack job...

The Windows built-in joy.cpl calibration tool affects controllers that use XInput/DInput technology, and some games do ignore these settings. Its calibration functionality is rather limited too, so I would recommend the tools mentioned in the short answer above, but it is possible to manually tweak these settings.

Navigate to the registry keys of the respective controller,HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\DirectInput\VID_&PID_\Calibration\0\Type\Axes\. If you are unable to identify which key corresponds to your controller, I would recommend a tool called "USBDeview" by Nirsoft.

I was having issues with my controller when playing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and found that the game loads XInput.dll, DInput.dll, HID.dll files. Interestingly, HID.dll is invoked when a PS4 joystick is used, thus the Windows joy.cpl calibration settings are ignored. Using DS4Windows causes the XInput.dll functions to be invoked instead, also fixing calibration issues.

SCPToolkit is a driver that allows you to use PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 controllers on Windows. The most advanced tool available is DS4Windows, which is compatible with DualShock 3, DualShock 4, and DualSense. However, some people still prefer to use SCPToolkit on earlier versions of Windows.

From SCPToolkit, you can add wired or Bluetooth controllers. To make it work, you need a wide variety of tools. This program acts as an intermediary between the controller and the games, making the games believe that you're using an Xbox controller. Therefore, you need to have the Xbox drivers installed. If you have Windows 8 or later, this step isn't necessary, as they come with the computer by default. In addition, you'll need Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package, Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Runtime, and DirectX Runtime.

In order to use DualShock 3, Bluetooth 2.0 or higher is required, and it must support EDR (Enhanced Data Rate). In the case of DualShock 4, Bluetooth version 2.1 or higher is required. It also works with unofficial controllers.

But when I make the installation, WIndows doesn't detect the controller (as expected), so I try to give the driver, and I keep receiving the message that no signed driver for the hardware has been found.

"For virtual machines that are configured as domain controllers, it is recommended that you disable time synchronization between the host system and guest operating system acting as a domain controller."

Windows Insiders can now try out an early preview of a feature called controller bar. Controller bar is a preview of a new view of Xbox Game Bar that provides easy, controller-friendly access to recently played games and game launchers.

We are looking forward to getting feedback on controller bar from Windows Insiders who are PC gamers. Some third-party games may not show up in the most recently played games list or may be duplicated there. If you see any examples of this or anything else that is unexpected, please file feedback in Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Gaming > Xbox Game Bar. For a complete list of known issues, please visit

Devices using the operating systems listed below or later support DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller Bluetooth and USB connections. Once connected, you can use your wireless controller to control compatible games and applications.

To reconnect your wireless controller to your PS5 console or PS4 console, connect it with a compatible USB cable and press the PS button on the wireless controller. You can then remove the USB cable and use the controller wirelessly.

Azure AD Domain Services includes multiple domain controllers to provide high availability for your managed domain. Ensure business continuity with guaranteed service uptime and resilience to failures.

Hey, folks.
I have a generic white/blue 100w laser with an original ruida controller running on LAN. Everything works great on a Mac computers, but when I try using a windows 11 laptop, lightburn refuses to see the laser.

@Tian thanks for the screen shots. From the MIDI Configuration drop down menu, please select the MIDI Mapping that contains (built-in) at the end of the controller name.

When specifying a custom AMI ID for Windows managed node groups, add eks:kube-proxy-windows to your AWS IAM Authenticator configuration map. For more information, see Limits and conditions when specifying an AMI ID.

If you enabled Windows support on a cluster that is earlier than a Kubernetes or platform version listed in the Prerequisites, then you must first remove the vpc-resource-controller and vpc-admission-webhook from your data plane. They're deprecated and no longer needed.

Verify that your aws-auth ConfigMap contains a mapping for the instance role of the Windows node to include the eks:kube-proxy-windows RBAC permission group. You can verify by running the following command.

You should see eks:kube-proxy-windows listed under groups. If the group isn't specified, you need to update your ConfigMap or create it to include the required group. For more information about the aws-auth ConfigMap, see Apply the aws-auth ConfigMap to your cluster.

If you enabled Windows support on a cluster that is earlier than a Kubernetes or platform version listed in the Prerequisites, then you must first remove the vpc-resource-controller and vpc-admission-webhook from your data plane. They're deprecated and no longer needed because the functionality that they provided is now enabled on the control plane.

Uninstall the vpc-resource-controller with the following command. Use this command regardless of which tool you originally installed it with. Replace region-code (only the instance of that text after /manifests/) with the AWS Region that your cluster is in.

Enable Windows support for your Amazon EKS cluster with the following eksctl command. Replace my-cluster with the name of your cluster. This command deploys the VPC resource controller and VPC admission controller webhook that are required on Amazon EKS clusters to run Windows workloads.

The VPC admission controller webhook is signed with a certificate that expires one year after the date of issue. To avoid down time, make sure to renew the certificate before it expires. For more information, see Renewing the VPC admission webhook certificate.
