Hello all ARES members!

It is that time of the month where all ARES members need
to send in your hours to your LOCAL ECs.

ARES Nets, Public Service events, Gateway/Node maintenance,
Winlink useage, Hospital Hams, Skywarn, Fox Hunt prep and
participation time, etc, all qualify (at least in Augusta County
I consider all of these). We appreciate you separating out your
hours for each activity.

Thanks for your time and desire to make ARES work.

David AD4TJ, EC for Augusta County

Hi David no hours to report at this time, but I am looking forward to some future Fox Hunts.

Morning David, please put me down for 30 minutes of A.R.E.S. "Net Time"

Also as the weather gets warmer I encourage everyone... new hams as well seasoned, to plan
on another great season of outdoor "Fox Hunt" fun.

Attached are a few pix from last season's hunt's and some of the wild bunch.
These hunts are A.R.E.S. sponsored activities providing a great way to meet fellow enthusiasts and
practice radio operation that could be used for locating lost persons, downed aircraft, emergency
beacons or malfunctioning transmitters.

And the best part... once the Fox Hunt starts, it only takes up about an hour of your time.
