Good morning all,

Some of you may or may not know, there is currently a small 2M SSB net on Thursday nights at 8pm at the 144.200MHz frequency. It is comprised of a few folks from east of the Blue Ridge and some in the Valley as well as a few distant stations that occasionally pop in. With summer propagation coming and more signals from distant stations coming in better, it was recommended that we move our informal meet from the 144.200 MHz frequency to 144.205 MHz off of the 2M SSB national calling frequency.

While we were looking to change the frequency, we thought it best to also change the night of the net to avoid conflict with other ongoing nets on and around the 8pm period on Thursdays. Since Tuesday seems to be a pretty slow night for nets, we decided to move to Tuesdays at 8pm on 144.205 MHz.

We encourage all that have 2M SSB capable rigs to join the growing net on Tuesdays. Some of us don't have horizontally polarized antennas yet, but we make it in there and get it done with those that have the more ideal Yagi's and dipoles. We hope to have a nice 2M SSB following some day as it is a fun band to try and push some distance with and really encourages improving our stations  to stretch out those 2M contacts.

Hope to catch more of you on the 2M SSB net Tuesday night at 8pm.
