Using 2Tone is easier as it has so many less variables to set up than MMTTY as well as using less screen area.

2Tone itself is downloadable from here: https://www.rttycontesting.com/downloads/2tone/ download 16.11a being the latest version.

A beginner should take the path of least trouble.  Just use MMTTY.
