We Need Our Grindstone HAM Team Again!

Hello Everyone,

First, thank you for everything you did to make last year's Grindstone Festival such a success. We truly could not have done it without our incredible team of HAM radio volunteers. Your willingness to serve, communicate, and keep runners and staff connected is one of the keys to making this event safe and successful.

We're gearing up for this year's event, and we still have 18 volunteer positions that need to be filled.

As a thank-you for volunteering, every HAM operator will receive:

• 👕 Grindstone volunteer swag
• 💳 A $100 Visa Gift Card to help cover gas and other expenses

Below is the current list of open positions, along with those that have already committed.

I'll take care of the rest and register you in our VolunteerLocal system.

If you know other licensed HAM operators who might enjoy being part of this incredible event, please feel free to forward this email or invite them to join us. The more operators we have, the stronger our communications network will be, and the better experience we'll provide for the runners and volunteers.

Grindstone has become one of the premier ultramarathons in the country, and our HAM team plays a vital role in making it happen. We'd love to have you back with us again this year.
