The 2026 AM Rally begins 7:00pm EST Friday February 6th and runs until 2:00am EST Monday February 9th.

"The purpose of this event is to encourage the use of Amplitude Modulation on the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 , and 6 meter Amateur Radio Bands, and to highlight various types of AM equipment in use today. This event is open to any and all radio amateurs who are running full carrier amplitude modulation (standard AM), using any type of radio equipment. Modern, Vintage, Tube, Transistor, Software Defined, Military, Boat Anchor, Broadcast, Home Brew or Commercially available radio are all welcomed to join in on the AM fun."

I'll be running my Flex, rig category I at 25 watts tickling 4 grounded grid 572b's

My 160 antenna is down so I'll be mainly 40 and 80

Has anyone had any contacts with anyone doing the AM rally?
So far, nothing for me other than on 40 meters this morning after throwing my call out, a station came in and said "the frequency is in use".
What would the 20 meter preferred freq be? I'll try 10 meters later, but no luck so far on 3.885, or 7.290

14.330 and 21.420, then there’s 29.000. I made one contact, but it was a very short hello then goodbye on 40m.
